The Telangana Police Women Safety Wing offers great opportunities for interested professionals to work with us on contractual basis. There are several live projects that are ongoing, example the Safe City Project (GOI), BHAROSA One Stop Centre for Sexual Abuse Victims (Bharosa Society) etc.
We also have a robust volunteering and internship programme through which we are always looking for talented young citizens to contribute. We require interns for our DV Cell (Domestic Violence Support), Girl Safety Clubs as well as other in-house operational support. Professionals can contribute to our Cyber Team and other specialized teams, including Social Media and Website Management etc.
The following active positions given below are exclusively for Family Counselling Centres coming up in the three Commissionerate areas of Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda under the Safe City Project. Under this project, there are 27 Centres for Development and Empowerment of Women (CDEW)s or Family Counselling Centres, which will render Counselling to victims of Domestic Violence.
The Women Safety Wing (WSW) of Telangana Police offers meaningful opportunities for professionals, interns, and volunteers committed to women and child safety. Through flagship initiatives like Family Counselling Centres (CDEWs), Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), and Bharosa Centres, WSW provides protection, empowerment, and justice to those in need.
Alongside contractual roles, WSW runs an active Internship and Volunteering Programme, where young citizens contribute to outreach, cyber safety, social media, and operational support—gaining valuable hands-on experience in high-impact initiatives.
