Making Cyberspace safer for women & Children

Responding to the ongoing cyber crimes, Telangana State Police and Women Safety Wing believe in a strategy of maintaining positive relations with the community and involving the community in the quest for crime control and crime prevention. By pooling their resources with those of the community, Women Safety Wing seeks to address the most pressing concerns of the society pertaining to cyber safety. CybHER marks the dawn of a new beginning in e-community policing in the state of Telangana.

CybHER – Safe for Her, a distinctive initiative to create a safe space for women and children in the cyber world was ideated by the Women Safety Wing under the supreme vision of Director General of Police Sri. Mahender Reddy, Additional Director General of Police Smt. Swati Lakra and Deputy Inspector General of Police Smt. Sumathi Badugula. The aim of the campaign is to create awareness and offer proactive measures for women and children on how to keep oneself safe in the digital world and deal with privacy in cyberspace.
