Smt. Shikha Goel, ADG addressed the National Consultation on Safe Migration to Combat Trafficking on 30th July, 2024 at New Delhi. Addressing the gathering, Smt. Shikha Goel highlighted Telangana’s groundbreaking strides in curbing trafficking, facilitating rescues and enabling rehabilitations. Through concerted efforts by Telangana Police and Women Safety Wing, Telangana has successfully achieved tracing capacity of 88%. Anti-Human Trafficking Unit(AHTU) of Telangana Police has till date organized 527 awareness sessions resulting in successfulling tracing over 59,000 children over the years!
