The Bharosa Centre counsellor provides psychological counselling and guidance to the women and children who are victims of grave sexual offences. They also provide need-based referral services to Shelters, Rehab Centres etc. Key roles included the following:
1. Drafting of client case history
2. Conducting Individual /Group Counselling involving the client and family members/ other stakeholders
3. Implementing appropriate therapies on a need basis.
4. Take absolute ownership across the client lifecycle and shall follow the prescribed code of ethics, guidelines, and protocols in providing counselling services.
5. Depending on the case load at the centre, the Counsellor will also take part in / anchor awareness activities in the community.
