The Women Safety Wing of Telangana in coordination with the Telangana State Education Department, Welfare residential schools of SC, ST, Minority, BC and other stake holders has successfully launched the “Cyber Ambassador Platform (C.A.P)” program in which total 2381 schools i.e Govt. Schools 1603, BC welfare-259, SC welfare – 237, Minority welfare 204, ST welfare -78 are selected from 33 districts with 4 students (class 8 and 9, 2 students each) and 2 Mentor Teachers from each school who will participate in the 6 month long programme, which has been inaugurated on 11 January 2023 on the event of National Youth day at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad.
In this program, Cyber ambassadors, Mentor teachers, district nodal officers are the crucial stake holders. Mentor teachers, district nodal officers Play a vital role from the Education department ensuring the participation of the cyber ambassadors for the above sessions.
The unit SHE Team officers and village police officers selected from the local jurisdictional police station ensure that they coordinate with various stakeholders (i.e. Cyber Ambassador, Mentor Teacher, Volunteer mentors, Cyber experts etc) to ensure smooth functioning of the sessions along with unhindered technical support given by Cyber module of Women Safety Wing.
