The Anti Human Trafficking Unit -PMU @ Women Safety Wing is being set up in collaboration with the Association for Voluntary Action (AVA). AVA is a child rights movement founded and spearheaded by Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi in 1979. These positions, while operating out of WSW premises, are fully funded by and on the roles of AVA, with no direct employment relationship with the Women Safety Wing.The AHTU PMU provides research-based investigative support for complex cases across states. The Executive – Analytics, reporting to the Program Manager, will:
1.Track investigations and conduct OSINT( Open-Source Intelligence research) research to identify key actors in the trafficking ecosystem.
2.Collect and analyze intelligence from open sources (including dark web and online platforms) to support field action.
3.Liaise with law enforcement and civil society groups while maintaining a database of trafficking networks.
