The AHTU PMU @ Women Safety Wing is being set up in collaboration with the Association for Voluntary Action (AVA). Association for Voluntary Action (AVA) is a child rights movement founded and spearheaded by Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi in 1979. These positions, while operating out of WSW premises, are fully funded by and on the roles of AVA, with no direct employment relationship with the Women Safety Wing.
The AHTU PMU has provision for a small call centre. This call centre will contact various stakeholders and collect information and feedback periodically. The call centres shall also be responsible for the following activities:
1. Capturing data on Rescues, awareness and other activities held across the State by AHTU teams
2. Following up on status of filing of Compensation claims etc.
3. Creating support tickets for various support required by field teams engaged in Rescue of Child victims of Trafficking
